I couldn’t even begin to tell you how hyped I was when I came across this. If you have no idea what these are, you have no sense of pop culture. These are the shoes Marty McFly wore in 1989′s classic Back To The Future II. Nike branded the shoes as the ‘Nike Air Mag’ but has never released them. Since the movie, there have been fans who fabricated their own version but never amounted to the Nike quality. Even Nike has released shoes like the Hyperdunks and the 6.0 Delorean SB SE just to tease fans. As to how legitimate this is, I am not completely sure. Some random youtube channel made by “DocEmmettBrown88,” based off of Christopher Lloyd’s character, has this one video. I’ll just be sure to keep you all updated when more news emerge. Edit: The day after I posted this, I read the whole deal about them. If you haven’t heard about this already, I’ll give you the basics: All pairs will be sold via ebay and all the proceeds go to the Michael J. Fox Foundation. The first pair sold for around $30,000. They also will not begin shipping them out until every pair is sold. They estimate about $12 million will be donated. Hit the jump to see detailed photos.
