My apologies about the absence of last week’s TTN but my life has been filled with tedious work that a senior in college has to endure. Whatever, I probably shouldn’t complain to my readers. I was motivated to write this week’s TTN after reading last weeks @PropaneLV’s “White Rapper Thoughts” article. I don’t think I’ve posted any type of female fashion on here unless I was referring to guys who accessorize themselves with products meant for women.
Since fall is well underway, at least here in Ohio it is, I want to spend this week’s post speaking on female fall fashion. This is for both the ladies and gents. Read on and gain some knowledge.You know when it starts getting warm out and the ladies start wearing less clothing, the men out there are thinking to themselves: “FINALLY!” I’m not one of those guys. Don’t get me wrong; I appreciate a pretty lady in a mini-skirt and a low-cut shirt just as much as the next guy, but I am nowhere near impressed. The summer is just an excuse for women to turn a simple get-up into a man’s forbidden fruit. If I have to look at a chick and think that my outfit has more thought into it, then that should be an indicator that dressing in the summer for a girl is a cakewalk.
As soon as it started getting cold, my dudes started complaining to me, saying they’re upset that they aren’t seeing as much skin. I tell them to relax and be happy for this opportunity. This is the part I get that “Yo, you must like dudes” look. Think about it: the fall is the chance for women to prove to the men that they really have a sense of style. Fall fashion to me is the best because it’s all about layers. I’m going from top to bottom
Girls usually keep their hair down in the fall because it keeps their head warm but I feel like a girl with their hair down exemplifies sophistication and that is so damn sexy. Oh, she’s having a bad hair day? No problem, over-sized beanies can be the accessory that ties an outfit all together.
On a dress down day, a hoodie helps fellas figure out who’s truly packing heat. But I’m more focused on the bitty next to her wearing a scoopneck long sleeve shirt under her cashmere shawl-collar cardigan. This type of combo is perfect for fall because both items are light on their own, but layering them creates a happy medium between being cold outside and warm inside.
Leggings are truly a blessing sent from above. Girls claim it’s warm and guys claim a girls butt is better in leggings/yoga pants. It’s a win-win for everyone. Maybe leggings aren’t enough. Putting on a wool mini skirt over the leggings adds that extra warmth and great definition to their backside. And I guess warmth?
Riding boots – originally meant for horseback riding – has turned into every girl’s necessity. When I see a chick walking towards me in some riding boots, I always imagine they are wearing them for me in hopes that I will be the thing they are trying to ride… Ok, that’s about the most offensive I’m going to get on this post. Oh and I guess they are warm.
Like I said earlier, fall fashion is the chance for girls to prove they have style. If a chick can pull off sexy in the fall, they have my heart.
