This is so bizarre. I don’t know why I even listened to it, but I’m glad I did.
Mickey Factz goes in over a Charles Hamilton produced track and seems to be reaching out to Charles, but at the same time he highlights all of the (many) things dude has done in the past couple years to embarrass himself. It’s like he’s reaching out and clowning dude at the same time.
The XV mixtape is finally here and although it’s still downloading at the moment I am positive that this is gonna be huge. Looking at the trackl list, XV has some dope features such as Pusha T, J. Cole, CyHi Da Prynce, Donnis, Miami Horror (Mikey’s favorite), Just Blaze, and even Patrick Stump. So enough talking and more downloading and enjoy one of the soon to be top mixtapes of 2011. G’head and hit the jump below for the download and track list. Continue reading →
OH MAN! This track has been played in Neverland at least 50 times in the last three days. I literally can’t stop listening to it. Now we’ve got a video to go along with it. This is almost too good to be true. If you don’t have The Weeknd mixtape you’re absolutely losing.
My dog, Lady, LOVES R&B. I’m totally serious about this. Whenever she is acting up I put on some Frank Ocean or The Weeknd and she chills right out.
Given the unusual amount of quality R&B being put out lately I decided to throw together a mix for y’all and name it in honor of my favorite 45 lbs of pitbull, Lady. She and I spent hours picking the right tracks. We’ve got some Lonny Breaux, John West, The Weeknd, and a few others. Enjoy.
New video from Tyga Man. This track is off his Black Thoughts 2 project which is slated to arrive shortly. I enjoy Tyga’s music.
Mikey’s Note: I want to apologize for the horrendous World Star tag on the video. I looked everywhere for a version without it but I couldn’t find one.
Newest release from Donnis off his forthcoming Southern Lights project. This one is an ode to his most favoritist ride, the Ford Mustang.
Mikey’s note: Very interesting sponsorship on Southern Lights. The project is going to be co-sponsored by Good Music All Day and Karmaloop. I guess they’re going after the bro crowd more than the G crowd…not sure what to make of that.
Jesus Shuttlesworth has been cold since his days at Big State. Brand Jordan put together this piece to celebrate him becoming the NBA career leader in 3-pointers. Big ups to this dude. He’s been a rock-solid NBAer for years and years. Always and always will be a fan. Cool.
If I had a nickel for every time Ellie Goulding got remixed I’d have enough to buy myself three or four bottles of Andre. Unfortunately for me, I don’t have those nickels. Fortunately for you, Bassnectar did this dope remix of her track. Listed, download, enjoy, yada, yada, yada. Cool.
This is a personal post. Caught this on my guy Shaud’s twitter today. I like this video for a couple reasons: it’s a bunch of boys from back home doing their thing, they’re drinking Carlo Rossi, and dudes flow is on. Cool.
