Rashad Thomas, the producer brainchild behind Stalley’s Lincoln Way Nights (Intelligent Trunk Music), talks about his creative process to becoming a force within Hip-Hop. – TC

Rashad Thomas is the most underrated producer making music. His buzz really came up through his work with Stalley, but in my opinion, his best work was with L.e for the uncool. He also has bars. Check out his feature, under the name $haddy Tee, on L.e’s “Holy Koran” and his Beach Boys sample on L.e’s “Anti-Parachute Theory”.

Rashad is my favorite producer out (Stalley and L.e). His heavy horns, hard percussion, and ability to use his voice as an instrument make from some seriously hot production. Believe it or not, dude also has some super hard bars. Some day I’ll put y’all on game.

I absolutely love Rashad’s production. As far as producers having their own sound, no one is doing it quite like Rashad is right now. He is successfully turning me in to a Stalley fan. He also hops on the hook for this one.

Last night we drank Absinthe on Bourbon St. and I had some crazy dreams. One of which involved celebrating with Rashad and Stalley at the old Birdie St. house. They were some real cool dudes in my dream.
